Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question do not hesitate to ask.

We have answers. Most of your frequently asked questions can be found here.

  • You must identify as a member of the Black community and be facing economic hardship that is making it difficult for you to cover the full cost of therapy.

We recognize the entire diaspora including; those from the Caribbean, South America, Africa, Europe, and all parts of the world. We affirm all religions, genders, sexuality, and disabilities within our work. We center the most marginalized voices.

  • We are currently leaving this to your discretion. We ask that you do not abuse the funds as there are individuals who would not be able to receive therapy if it weren’t for the Therapy Fund Foundation. Many people utilizing the funds have been impacted by COVID-19 and are facing financial hardship. All funds are received through donations and distributed on a first come first serve basis.

If you can afford therapy sessions, we ask that you please consider donating to the therapy fund foundation or refrain from using the therapy fund.
